About Me

Hogs is a cynical, sardonic, obsessive music fan but he’s not as judgmental as you probably think, based on that description. He is a non-traditional college student at Kansas State University studying journalism and broadcasting. Hogs also hosts a radio show on KSDB, The Wildcat 91.9, where he pretty much plays whatever he wants and talks about whatever he wants.

In a typical show you may hear everything from Camera Obscura (a good bet, as they’re his favorite band) to Ice-T to latin jazz, to “Weird Al” Yankovic to Black Flag to Joy Division…he enjoys most genres of music so get ready for an eclectic mix if you’re tuning in.

Hogs’ pet peeves include misuse of the word “myriad” and people who say “expresso” when they mean espresso.

While it’s true that Jesus is a friend of his and the trees change colour in autumn to honor his epic beard, Hogs is quite humble and doesn’t really have a high opinion of himself. If you see him out at a bar, feel free to buy him a Gin & tonic or two.
