I always thought they were from California but they’re from the Netherlands.

Not much going on here recently. K-State’s been on Spring Break which meant I didn’t do my show last Thursday. I’ll be doing one this week though my friend Meglet will be in town so I might duck out early. Therefore my Depression’s Got A Hold On Me show is going to be pushed back another week, which is good because it will allow me to collect the last of the songs I have on my proposed playlist. (Fiest, yes!)

Totally random action here but I know a lot of you (and by “a lot” I mean maybe three of the five people who read this) probably remember the Nickelodeon show Doug and of the three who remember Doug maybe two will remember The Beets and their awesome songs “I Need More Allowance” and “Killer Tofu.” The Beets Wikipedia page led me to a page entitled fictional musical groups which should provide hours of entertainment for music geeks such as myself.

Another recent discovery of mine is Harry Allen’s blog, Media Assassin. Harry Allen, if you’ll remember, is Public Enemy’s former “director of Enemy relations.” Through Allen’s blog I discovered Bad Paintings of Barack Obama which is something fun and distracting when you’ve got a few minutes to kill.
